Spiked Cookies?

Jere loves to bake, the most common thing is cookies. He has several types he makes. Recently we got a secret recipe from Kari that is so so so good. They were my favorite in college and they are still my favorite to this day. Everyone who tries them loves them. Well Jere was making a batch of these cookies today and as he was getting the ingredients out he was reading the labels. On one of the bottles of extract it says it is 40% alcohol. Jere's comment after reading that was " Is that why we like these cookies so much?" The alcohol cooks off so the cookies are fine but maybe I should stop eating so much of the dough :)
